The chicken Caesar salad was great but the fish tacos could be better!!! There was only a tiny piece of fish on the tacos.

Great location to enjoy the sunset ands beer. Yet, refrain from ordering any food. Most of their food is deep fried and it all taste poorly;over fried and tasteless. Their blended drinks are no more than blended ice and sugar. Again, you can't go wrong with a beer!

What could be better than sitting on a pier right over the shoreline, enjoying a cold Corona and listening to a cover band play classic rock? If this place was back at home, I would be a regular. The Boardwalk Bar really hit the spot after a long day, and this seemed to be the place to just chill and watch the sunset. I ate some coconut beer battered gulf shrimp with orange marmalade and their house salad. The salad was standard, but OH those shrimp! Big, plump and delicious, I had never had such good tasting shrimp in my life. I'm not a big shrimp fan, but these shrimp are making me reconsider. The coconut wasn't too overpowering. The marmalade was a bit too much sweetness to handle. I'm craving some shrimp right now as I type this... Free parking, btw.

It is essentially a dive bar in an awesome location. The happy hour prices are great ($1.66 for a draft Blue Moon...), the staff is friendly and the location is amazing. The food is good, not great, but considering you are dining ocean front and not spending $100s of dollars it is a pretty great deal. Took my family and we all enjoyed it. Walked out to the end of the pier (free with your receipt) and enjoyed people watching as much as the ocean view. It is a good time in a great place. Don't go if you are expecting formal dining but if you are looking for an enjoyable night out, this is it.

We liked the burgers and drinks while listening to a laid back band while overlooking the beautiful beach and just wasting our time away. Loved it, but don't go for the food or drinks, which are just ok, go for the experience. Relaxing and enjoyable.

$15 to park - 13.95 for a fish sandwich. Westgate has taken over the pier and not in a good way. You used pay $10 to park and get $5 back at the restaurant...NOT ANY MORE. They used to have a Sunday Buffet - NOT ANY MORE. Now you pay $15 to park and get a pass to walk to the end of the pier - Cost is $1 if you don't have the parking pass. AJ the server was The BEST Server...the only reason to walk to this place from the beach. Westgate also takes all the front parking spots for their vans and box trucks...WHY when you have a full empty parking lot during the start of slow season...

I love the view and my favorite bartenders. I expect a premium given the view & history. So beer prices are okay & happy hour 4-7 M-F is great. The issues: 1) while burgers are really good with cheese and bacon costs me $14+. They've hyped the food with new owners so today I tried blackened chicken: fair at best. I know many chefs who really know how to blacken meat. This was similar to most chains. 2) For New Years Eve paid $30 cover ( yes, 4 oz of cheap bubbly at midnight, + party favors & 3 bands). 2014 was much more fun and cost less than 2015. Band at Boardwalk was ballad band, no covers, would be great sometime but not NYE. Slow so boring. Finally gave up seats and moved to packed Keith's after midnight for a good band. 3). I just heard people behind me say the $14 gator was not good.

PROS: View NEUTRAL: Food was okay CONS: waitress was horrible! Had to ask for water 4 times before we received. She had to come over a second time to confirm what we had ordered because she had it all screwed up. People came and sat down to our left and to our right 15 minutes after we arrived, were assisted by a different waitress and got their food 15 minutes before we did. A party a few tables down dined and dashed because they must have got tired of waiting for their food......They didn't even pay for their coffee.... Will NOT return

The name now says pelican bar and grill- odd shaped fries and lousy service- Not worth it. Paid $10 for all day parking b/c hourly parking is 1.50 and who would remember to keep feeding the meter? Went up the ramp toward the pier. First stop- pelicans bar/grill. WORST SERVICE from " bartender" Eddie. Seemed over worked with few patrons at bar. At least acknowledge a new guest or apologize rather than being a jerk. Asked what popular/ fave items were and he said- he didn't know, it was a new menu. Great answer champ. Asked for 2 piña coladas. Watery and icy, waste of $10 foolishly we ordered food- happy to not have food poisoning. Fish sandw- ok $15 and chix sandw- better. No small talk- no smile. Being new Yorkers' we tipped. I would by pass this " bar/ grill" didn't see a pelican but quite a few pigeons swoop in to pick up crumbs..... Yuck

Great service with plenty of outdoor seating .I absolutely love the Clam Chowder in the fabulous bread bowl . Another tip is the noise level is on the rowdy side but I liked it as I was dining alone .

This is a place on the beach!!! A pier in fact. They have great looking food, great drinks and drink specials and it is not OVERLY packed on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is short, but what they do, they do well. I only had the buffalo shrimp and salt and vinegar fries, but they were very good. All of the other food looked great! The salads are served with a HUGE crouton (a bread bowl baked)... Pretty cool!

Terrible service, menu is straight off a food truck delivery, ie onion rings, French fries, hamburger and fried shrimp. BORING! Our waiter was snotty, he tried to get us to leave as soon as we sat down, he kept complaining about everything, he even told us if we order he won't be taking it back to the kitchen!!! We ordered a round of drinks and followed his 'advice'. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, we won't be back. Oh and thanks for making us pay $10 to park.

Great service, bartenders were super friendly. Awesome place to get out of the sun and grab a cold drink. We only had the crab dip and it was decent. It is a bit overpriced for the quality but you should expect that at a place that is literally on the beach. Overall, great place to relax!

If you are eating here it's likely you have already paid $10 to park and are either a tourist or a local soaking up some sun & you don't want to walk very far to eat. This place definitely has a great view of the beach but the "great" stops there. The food was just ok as was the service. The Rum Runner I had was terrible. Also, note the area of the menu for specialty drinks lists no prices & "non-returnable" so if you don't like it... tough sh@t! I later found out my drink was $8 If you're starving, go ahead and grab some grub but avoid the specialty drinks and stick to the beer.

I agree the pier experience enhances the visit to this cafe/bar (the cafe and bar are combined and we went to the cafe on this visit). The cafe is on the pier and you are literally sitting over the ocean on an amazing old wooden pier that feels more like a sailing ship than anything else. This is not the sanitized, updated piers that are found on the Gulf side, it is a wooden colossus holdover from another era that is just hanging in there. Having said that, the food at the cafe was ok. We had the garden burgers with seasoned fries and they were average, but this is more like pub food in a really cool pub than anything else. If you are going to Cocoa Beach this is definitely worth a visit.

This bar is on the Cocoa beach pier with Marlin, Mai Tiki Bar, and Oh shucks. It is essentially in the middle of the pier. It has a small bar and seating area that is covered but open on one side to the beach. We went here a couple of times for happy hour during our little spring break vacation. Just like Mai Tiki and Oh Shucks, the mixed drinks are not very good and a little overpriced. The beer is super cheap, specially during happy hour when the beer is dirt cheap. We typically went during happy hour between 4-7pm. Ultimately it is a great bar, it is not a good restaurant though. The food, much like most of Cocoa Beach, is not very good. It is somewhat simple bar food. Alot of seafood options. But, the seafood seamed to be pre breaded, frozen, and fried seafood.
